Are in-born behaviors learned at some point?

I'm doing research for school on how likely artificial intelligence will be actual intelligence and not just millions of options and a fabricated version of choice. From what I've read our choices can all be determined by how we were raised. The only problem is in-born behaviors like sex, hunger, and other things. I know those were never "taught" to me but are reasons why I do things, especially things I was taught not to do. Are these taught at some point by observing at some point? If any one can point me to any place on the net that is discussing this or published something to this effect I'd appreciate it.

I think the issue you are trying to learn about is something you can google which you might know is called Nature vs. Nuture. I did it and got LOTS of hits. Good luck!

No. Inborn things are the exact opposite of things we are taught. They can be controlled at certain points in our lives, but they are natural nonetheless.
