Lisp is like any other compiler language. You just need the compiler and a text editor. Its more of a relational language though. It was used in the 80′s for effort in AI though.

Thinking about the ability that robots have to learn is fascinating! We’ve really come a long way with robots in a pretty short time. This article makes me excited about the developments in artificial intelligence that I’ll see in my lifetime.
